Event Photography

Of all the photo assignments I undertake those that cause me the greatest stress is event photography.  I think it's because there are usually high expectations and one truly has to make it up on the fly; you can hardly interrupt proceedings for a re-take.  What if there's an equipment malfunction or battery failure?  what happens when a key speaker is looking down at their notes all the time?  You just have to take a load of images and hope for the best.
