Lisbon in Black & White

This is the Torre de Belem; or Tower of Belem.  Constructed in the early 1500's to mark the start/end point for departing explorers, the tower was well out into the river originally.  The land north of the tower has been reclaimed from the sea in modern times; now visitors can get from the shore line to the tower via a short walkway.  I took several shots of the tower and I think I like this one best because of the two young boys in the lower left, I think they add another level of interest to this shot.
